General Ernest Nason Harmon (1894-1979) was known to many as "Gravel Voice". He was born in Massachusetts and graduated from West Point in 1917. At the end of 1945 he commanded the Third Army occupying Czechoslovakia and stayed at the Hotel Continental, which at the time was being used as a US Army Headquarters.
